Each year on Easter, we get to take up the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. 100% of the money raised goes to the more than 5,000 church planters and chaplains in the US and Canada through the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Envelopes for this offering will be available this Sunday on the back of the pews and chairs in the Worship Center and at the different Do Something Stations and Guest Services.
We are asking you to prayerfully consider what you will give to this offering which goes to help planters, like Mark & Christi Cox in Columbus, Ohio, and Steve & Michelle Farris in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Jason & Caroline Lankford in Anchorage, Alaska, and Jason & Rachelle Helmbacher in St. Louis, Missouri.
WHAT IS THE ANNIE ARMSTRONG EASTER OFFERING?
The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (AAEO) is the primary way we support mission efforts in North America. One hundred percent of gifts given to AAEO are used to support Southern Baptist missionaries serving across the United States and Canada.
WHERE DOES YOUR MONEY GO?
Every gift to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering—100 percent—goes to train, resource and send more than 5,000 missionaries involved in church planting and compassion ministries across the United States, Canada and their territories. Our partnership with Southern Baptist Convention churches and individuals makes this work possible.
HOW MANY MISSIONARIES DOES THE ANNIE ARMSTRONG EASTER OFFERING SUPPORT?
The North American Mission Board supports 5,262 missionaries. NAMB’s annual report provides missionary count information, as well as a summary of missions efforts.
